Lemon-Thyme Blueberry Smoothie

This delicious smoothie has the bright flavors of lemon, thyme, and sweet blueberries. Its just the right amount of sour and sweet, and the thyme gives it a hint of herbal freshness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Wash the blueberries thoroughly

Peel and slice the ripe banana

In a blender, combine the blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, honey, fresh thyme leaves, lemon juice, and almond milk

If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can also add a few ice cubes at this stage

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy

Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lemon juice, if needed

Pour the Lemon-Thyme Blueberry Smoothie into a glass, garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme if desired, and serve immediately
