A hearty and tasty beef chili thats great for cold days or get-togethers. You can add different toppings to make it your own.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced avocado
Instructions:
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until onion is translucent
Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper
Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
Serve hot with optional toppings
