Adding hot chocolate stir sticks to your drink is a fun way to make it better. They are great as gifts or as a fun treat in the afternoon, especially when its cold outside. You can add your favorite toppings to make them look and taste better.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 8 wooden stir sticks or spoons
- Mini marshmallows
- Sprinkles or crushed candy canes optional
Instructions:
In separate bowls, melt semisweet, milk, and white chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth
Dip wooden stir sticks or spoons halfway into each melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off
Place on parchment paper and decorate with mini marshmallows and sprinkles or crushed candy canes if desired
Allow to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm
To use, simply stir into a mug of hot milk until chocolate is melted and enjoy
