These Teriyaki Meatballs are juicy and packed with flavor. They are perfect as an appetizer or served over rice as a main dish. The homemade teriyaki sauce adds a delicious sweet and savory glaze to the meatballs.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and minced garlic
Mix until well combined
Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and grated ginger
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally
Brush the meatballs with the teriyaki sauce
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving
